Fourth year at war

Ukraine invasion began four years ago. We have analysed why the anglo-American intelligence was able to foretell the war was inminent and why the allies refused to believe them. Intelligence failures seem to be unavoidable and are not usually subject to accountability. Not too often, resignations happen because of intelligence failures. In Israel some resignations take place when failures happen, but it is a country which is at war, and intelligence and security culture is deeply embedded in the population and politics. But it is not the case in Europe in general. We wish for a swift ending of the war in Ukraine. No one could have expected that four years after the Russian initial attack, both would still be fighting. Putin and Trump have really changed the security structure all over the world…an it is still changing.
